Caleb Arkwright is a talented young Auckland-based actor whose recent screen work includes When Darkness Loves Us, directed by James Ashcroft and featuring Emilia Clarke. A graduate of Unitec’s acting programme, he brings a distinctive combination of formal performance training and lifelong martial arts experience to his work.

In 2024, Caleb was selected to attend a three-week intensive at the Shanghai Theatre Academy, where he trained in Chinese Opera, expanding his approach to movement, character and physical storytelling.

His martial arts practice spans karate, boxing, MMA and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, including competition experience. This foundation brings discipline, precision and versatility to his work, equipping him for demanding screen roles that call for both nuanced acting and physical intensity.
