Siana Godinet is a proud Samoan–Scottish performer, born and raised in South Auckland, New Zealand. She graduated in 2024 with a Bachelor of Performing and Screen Arts from Unitec, becoming the first in her immediate family to earn a bachelor’s degree.
Across three years of training, Siana developed a strong and versatile performance skill set, with studies spanning clown work, Michael Chekhov technique, voice and dialect, Shakespeare, and singing. In 2024, she was a member of the ensemble cast in Auckland Theatre Company’s Red, White and Brass, which ran at the ASB Waterfront Theatre from 18 June to 7 July. The production followed an intensive three-month rehearsal process, during which Siana worked closely with a predominantly Polynesian cast and creative team—an experience that deepened her ensemble performance skills, professional discipline, and collaborative practice within a large-scale theatre environment.
Her screen work includes appearing as the love interest in the unreleased music video for musicbyhales’ In My Head. Additional stage credits include Unitec’s production of Vanity Fair, directed by Cherie Moore, with whom Siana later reunited for her graduating production of Spring Awakening. The musical marked a significant milestone in both her artistic and professional development.
Through her training and performance experience, Siana has grown in confidence and clarity as an artist. She is deeply passionate about storytelling and is committed to creating work that ensures stories are seen, heard, and truly felt.
