Bridie Thomson [she/they] has over 15 years of stage and screen experience, and after moving from Hawkes Bay in 2022, quickly established a presence in Auckland’s performing arts scene, primarily comedy.

As an improviser, emerging clown and MC, their comedy blends sharp wit with character work and absurdity. Bridie also founded Comedy Culture NZ, producing sold-out alternative and inclusive Comedy shows across Tāmaki Makurau and beyond.

As a voice artist, Bridie’s warm, adaptable tone suits a range of projects from commercial to character work. They are also an Audio Describer for TV with Able, highlighting their commitment to accessibility and storytelling.

Bridie continues to create inclusive spaces for diverse voices in the arts through the medium of laughter.
