Stella Maris is best-known to kiwi viewers as co-host of beloved kids' institution What Now, bringing her infectious energy and vivacious personality to Sunday morning kids TV. More than a one-trick pony, the hyper-talented Stella is also an accomplished singer, songwriter, dancer and model.

The Rotorua Lakes High and Waiariki Music Academy alum has compiled a jam-packed CV of talent starting back when she was just 14, when Stella, along with a friend, wrote her first song Te Ika A Maui, which went on to win the native language award at the 2009 Smokefree Pacifica Beats. The Sulphur City native sang over Latin-inspired music in Bahrain and made two trips (after doing her own fundraising) to Los Angeles to represent New Zealand at the World Performing Arts Championships bringing home silver and gold medals in the second appearance at the event- all aged just 21.
An engaging presence on celluloid, Stella's screen credits include commercials and various shows produced by Christchurch's Whitebait Media. Her exotic diverse looks and musical aplomb are a favourite of casting agents looking for an x-factor performer. She describes herself as a real stir fry, my dads part Fijian Indian, part Maori, part Pakeha, my mum's a mixture of iwi and is part Tongan.

She's been regularly involved in stage performing with kapa haka, has experience with R?kau M?ori (traditional weaponry) is proficient in Spanish and does pretty mean UK and Australian accents. It almost seems poetic that Stella's name, which means Star, fits perfectly for this headlining leading lady with the world at her feet.

Stella's playful energy is a welcome presence to all events she's hired for.  She is easy and direct, and an incredibly likeable and warm young wahine.

Stella can also be hired for gigs for corporate events, and  MC's with a beautiful connection to audience.
